My name's Derek. I help artists wrangle the musical chaos of their ideas, and capture the feeling without the production process gutting what makes it uniquely yours.

I'm drawn to records where power and vulnerability exist in the same song - heavy without being empty, polished without being sterile. If it's got tension, contrast, and a heartbeat, I'm interested.

I'd rather spend an hour talking about what a song means to you than guess my way through a mix and hope I got it right. If you want a creative partner who cares more about the message than the genre, we'll probably get along.
